The waffles at @imsuzette.sg is crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and everything that i want in a waffle. Drizzled with chocolate sauce & maple syrup, complete with some berries. Overall, hands down🙌🏻 Goodness in every bite. Extremely lip-smacking👅 Nomnomnomnom~

Ever since I had it in December I've been dreaming of this in my sleep and I finally had a chance to go back for it!

It's creamy yet refreshing. Sweet yet muted. I'm kinda sad they don't give the candied wintermelon pieces any more though. At $6 a pop it's definitely a must try!

Queued for at least 10 mins before getting this durian chendol softserve ($7)
And it was great. I love that it successfully Incorporated the flavours of chendol into an ice cream concoction, though they could have been more generous with their ingredients. The durian was fresh, and had a very sweet note to it, which sort of overpowered the entire dish. Being the durian lover that I am, I did not complain. But if you're a chendol purist, give the durian version a miss.
I highly recommend you to share this as it does get a little jelat after a few mouthfuls.
Froyo was good but the waffle was soggy and too sweet.
From Neh Neh Pop at the 9MCM pop up this year that runs from 20 to 21 June. Calling these as "atas Magnum" wouldn't be doing justice to these creative innovations that comes from the same folks who brought us Artichoke Cafe + Bar. Of the lot of flavours we had, the Double Chocolate Cone remains the safest; Milk Chocolate Kulfi, Milk Chocolate Dip and Crushed Ice Cream Cone Crumbs atop the ice-cream. Rocky Road and Strawberry Pockie were more adventurous and playful; Rocky Road had the same milk chocolate ice-cream but contains inserts of marshmallows within, yet sprinkled with toasted almonds, fruity pebbles and Wonka Nerds as well as popping candy on a dark chocolate dip. The result was a sweeter version of the Double Chocolate Cone that comes with a party in the mouth with popping candy and fruity pebbles giving their distinct flavours and textures to the ice-cream. Strawberry Pockie was interesting too; Strawberry Ripple Ice-Cream which carried a light yogurt-like sourness to the white chocolate coating with Strawberry Pockie sprinkled atop; a real treat for those who prefer non-chocolate desserts which burst of Berry freshness.
Bet you've had one of those nights where you and a group of friends ended up wandering aimlessly after a late dinner, hoping to find a place to continue your catchup? Thankfully, Nunsongyee at Bugis Junction is not only in a convenient location, but also open 24/7. Unfortunately, this does mean long waiting times. If you're up for waiting, and enjoying the company, go ahead and order the Black Sesame Bingsu ($18.90), a crowd-pleaser that's not too sweet. Alternatively, the unique Snow White ($18.90) boasts shredded cheese, macadamia nuts, and white chocolate! Have one bingsu to every two people, and perhaps a Honey Butter Toast ($12.90) to share between the group.
This brand new cafe along Evans Road highly recommends their salted caramel waffles, which are light, fluffy and tasty. The coffee here is decent too. Needless to say, this cafe will please the Bukit Timah folks! Photo by Alain Foodology.
This stack of pancakes come in 4 layers, topped with soft bananas, ricotta, crunchy pistachio bits and honey. Top it up with some honeycomb for another $3, it really goes a long way! Be sure to get a bit of the creamy riccotta with every bite. Also, the presentation is superb. End off with their aromatic long black. Photo by Huixuan Tan.
Late night dessert place for red velvet waffles! But waiting time can be really long.
North Bridge Road is now greeted by the presence of multiple new ice cream parlours, one being the very new Twenty Grammes. Besides homemade ice cream, waffles and coffee, they also offer a selection of tarts and cakes to satisfy your dessert cravings. Try their banoffee pie and hazelnut dacquiose recommended by Tastemaker Jennifer Yeo, and their yummy honey scotch ice cream. We ought to count our lucky stars that in hot, humid Singapore, we sure don't have a lack of cool-me-down ice cream parlours!
Two thumbs up for these fluffy waffles crisped brown on the surfaces, as well as for the ice creams – the hazelnut, sweet and Kinder Bueno-ish, was a great combination with the slightly sour strawberry cheesecake, smooth and rich with bits of buttery crumble.
