Hainese Food
Featuring British Hainan (Joo Chiat), David Brown's Restaurant & Tea Terraces, Tan Koon Curry Rice
Ah Leong San
The queue is always long especially during lunch hours. Even though you may not have their curry dishes you should ask for curry as your gravy for the rice. It’s a typical Hainanese curry. If you want to add spice to your rice then get the sambal chilli sauce when you take your food away. It’s sedap!
Definitely a delicious meal worth coming up Penang Hill for. The cool crisp air is a welcome condition to be in for a meal. The meat really melted in my mouth and the sauce enhances the meat. Yummy!

One of the best lamb shank I've ever eaten. Delicious meat just fell off the bone that I didn't have to use the knife. Yummidelicious!
