Eating In Taiwan
Complimentary breakfast, wasn't too appetizing, but good try anyway. Gorgeous views from the restaurant.
Christian cafe in Taiwan with cosy design.
A slightly saltish Popiah skin is lain on a plate and candied peanut in blocks are shaved down and lain on top of the Popiah skin. Several sprigs of parsley add much flavor to the snack and you can choose 2 scoops of ice-cream (I personally prefer not) on top.
Along the Pingxi line you can pick these up for NT30. They're really cute. After you open the plastic cap, you push down and a marble will drop down and it'll pop like champagne! When you tilt the bottle to drink, the marble blocks the drink from flowing down so you have to drink like the bunnies drink from their water bottles by using your tongue to push the drink. Many designs available.
Really good! The Chee Chong Fun is really soft and the Youtiao adds a crispy and slightly salty flavor to it.
This was alright but the wasabi taste was kind of gone coz the sausage was oily and kind of "washed" the wasabi taste away.
Outside is coated with a thin layer of icing sugar while the inside is slightly salty coz of the generous amount of cheese. Bite into it and the cheese is very chewy. NT190 for a plate of 10.
Surprisingly good for microwave food! Chicken is low on fat and the food portion is good.
Choc pudding on crumbled choc (like milo) and rested on a plate of shaved ice to keep the pudding cold. Pretty large serving and suggested to be shared by 2.
Fried pork cutlet with rice and sweet fruit salad on the side in a sex themed restaurant.
Choose from an array of colorful jellies. One for NT10 or NT100 for 10pcs + 1 free. They're firm yet soft, but not too cold being left out like that. Tastes better after bringing home to put in the fridge.
These little critters deep fried to super crispy skewered with potato cubes. Crunchy!
