Korean Food FTW π°π·
This reminds me of something like Yoogane. As Ying and I were still pretty full, we decided to just order the one without meat. One thing to note, they require you to have a minimum of 2 orders (the same as Yoogane) for meat orders. They only have like 4-5 meats selections, not many to choose from.
This is the rice cake set, which consists of rice cakes, fish cakes, eggs, ramyeon and the vegetables.
It was super super spicy, GOSH.
I kept drinking water and spamming pickled radish (this helps to reduce the spiciness in your mouth, so learn okay!) But I would rather go for Yoogane over this, because Yoogane has my favourite sweet potato rice cake (Goguma ddoeboeki) :P
Oh BTW, this is situated at Johor Bahru, City Square Mall, Level 3! π
It is a seasoned and simmered chicken dish that originated in Gyeongsangbukdo, Andong. My dear friend tried this dish when she was in Korea and her ratings were that it's not as nice as compared to those in Korea.
To me, I thought it was pretty not bad, but it's not to my liking. I'm never a chicken person, I prefer beef, fish & pork, hehe. The chicken was soft and easy to chew, yet flavourful.
Though it looks dark due to the seasonings and soy sauce, there are pieces of dried chilli which made the dish to have another layer of taste.
If you would like to give it a try, do head there early as the space is pretty limited.
I was never the fan of Seoul Garden. But just so happen my colleagues wanted to have seoul garden. To my surprise, this bowl of Bimbibap was pretty good and the price is pretty reasonable as well:) not sure if I'm too hungry so I gulped all down π but the flavouring was just right and making every mouth so good-licious
Finally got the chance to try the famous Yoogane. My rating: not too bad. I think I have eaten better ones:) hehe. But oh well, but I must say, the sauce is pretty spicy and good, but a little too little for our giant plate here. They do offer the sweet potato ddeobokki! this I must emphasize on its taste. Itsssss soooooooo gooooooood! SEDAP π I think I'll only return to eat that particular one. Hahah! Oh oh, for west siders, good news! They are opening one branch in Westgate! So you do not need to travel down to Bugis just to satisfy your craving anymore π
My favourite is that I have is that there's free flow of kimchi. YAY!
I love this and the dumplings! Simply delish! YUMMMMM
This pancake as compared to the other pancakes that I've tried, this is slightly thicker than the usual. I expected it to be spicy due to the kimchi, but it wasn't :( but overall, they are pretty generous with their sotongs and seafood:) so not too bad for $14.
This spicy plate of spicy rice cake! π though it's spicy, it's really not too bad. But I felt that somewhat something is missing. It didn't give me a OOMPH feeling when I first ate it. So, nth much to comment on it. If you just want to cure your craving, no harm ordering and temporarily helps in stopping your cravings. But I'm still in searching of the best rice cake in SG ππͺ
