Spicy & Nice
Tahu goreng sauce is important to the dish. Hence the first time I did was to taste the peanut sauce. It was not overly sweet and every mouthful I bit into pieces of peanuts. The plus point is the spiciness- just right. I ordered a stick of mutton satay and was very impressed. Well charred on the outside and tender inside. Satay sauce is great too. No wonder this stall is a Michelin gourmand mentioned.
Very fresh fish which was steamed on the spot. Lots of vegetables including tomato, long beans, ladies finger and cabbage. Yummy yummy yum yum yum. Posted by Ah Leong San 2016 September 21
Very generous servings of items and they're tasty too. Worth every bit of the $4.50 as I had egg, fish, brinjal and vegetables. Yummy yummy yum yum. Posted by Ah Leong San 2016 March 16.
Truly the best fish otah I've eaten in any Nyonya restaurant. It has slices of fish meat within the paste. Really yummy yummy yum yum. Posted by Ah Leong San 2016 March 14
It came out pippin hot. Curry is just right in its spiciness. Fish head is fresh and well cooked (not over cooked). There is a choice of having whole or half head too. Yummy yummy yum yum yum! Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 December 30.
Beef sirloin cube fried with white pepper is a better choice than black pepper. The spiciness of the pepper does not overwhelmed the beef. Hence the peppery taste in a very tender beef cube. Belly nice. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 October 27
Very well fried pomfret and best of all is the sambal chilli is the dry type. With the dry type of chilli those who are not too keen on chilli can eat the fish without fear of it being too spicy. It's an excellent dish. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 October 3
A surprising good set lunch. The rendang tasted as good as those from Nasi Padang. The beef is tender and tasty. For $6.80 including coffee/tea it's good value for money. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 September 25
It's not often that I can find a decently good and tasty mee rebus, one of many local fav of mine. Although it's quite pricy $4.70 but it's a really good meal.
One of the best food court nasi Padang I've eaten. Very fresh and tasty vegetables and prawns
No I didn't ask for more chilli sauce. That's the normal version. It's a really interesting dry version of prawn mee. It has lots of different ingredients too. There are prawns, pork ribs, fish cake slices, cooked egg slices and tau pok too. But the chilli sauce is truly the star. It's a bit sweet, fragrant and spicy. Really yummidelicious for those who love hot hot chilli.
Very tasty Perenakan dish that goes well with rice
