One For The Pasta
Really generous with the amounts of jumbo prawns. I wish the pasta was more al dente. It was leaning more towards the limp side of the spectrum.
An additional $3 for chicken 🐔 and $4 for prawns. Tastes good but a bit salty. They are really generous with the chicken.
Miam Miam Spaghetti ($16.80) is a favourite of mine! Huge serving of pasta with a soft boiled egg 🍳! We also had Lobster Bisque Pasta ($20.80) and Modern Yaki ($15.80).
Irregular meals and long days. Having prompt food delivery helps a lot. Quite a good combo to have if you are hungry. However, the cinnamon buns were inedible.
You can also customise your level of spiciness (1, 2 or 3). They have really good fish & fries too!
1) Spaghetti with grilled chicken 🐔 and salted egg yolk sauce ($9.90)
2) Tom yam pasta with pan-seared salmon 🐟 ($10.90)
3) Spaghetti with battered chicken and laksa sauce ($9.90)
The tom yam one was hands down the favourite among all of us. Griddy is not halal certified but there's no pork no lard.
We made it for the set lunch ($15.80) which came with a side salad, main course and tea/ coffee. The herb chicken thigh tomato cream linguine and spicy pork collar garlic cream linguine were pretty good. However, I was actually eyeing their laksa pasta. Maybe next time!
Roasted pork belly, homemade bak kwa, olive oil, garlic, chilli and parsley. Very flavourful! It looks small but is actually quite filling.
I sat for about 10-15 minutes at the alfresco dining area and there was no acknowledgement. I had to help myself to the menu and had to go in a few times to remind them I was outside.
Then my lychee drink which came with these bubble like things, but the straw was a small one so I couldn't get those up. My pasta also took a good 20 minutes to arrive despite the fact that there were little customers.
Thankfully, this Sautéed Beef Aglio Olio ($15.90) was delicious. It came with generous amount of thickly cut beef and pasta.
Used @grabzsg 1-1 offer for all main courses which includes sandwiches, pastas and pizzas. We covered most regions by ordering The Jaipur ($12), The Singapore ($14), The Bangkok ($14) and The Parma ($16). Can you guess which is which? 😆
I ordered their aglio olio which is priced on the high side. The original one came with seafood but I opted for bacon.
I loved the pasta. The chef was not afraid to kick it up a notch with the spiciness. Also, it was full-flavoured with fresh herbs and chopped garlic.
