Simply love the sight of the smooth and fragrant porridge that fills up their seasoned, chipped porcelain bowls to the brim, steaming hot when served. It's a must-try for anyone who is looking for authentic Cantonese porridge! As a treat, I would order roast goose to go along with my 皮蛋鱿鱼粥 to complete the satisfying meal, be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Makes me feel loved, and being given TLC, every time.

Brew Bros serves quality brunch and coffee at a pleasant corner of a street. A couple was dressed up with their crew taking their wedding pictures at this street. Glad that we chanced upon this and would have spent more time there if not for the limited time we had considering our shopping aspirations.

Soya beancurd is my all-time favourite dessert. It was a generous helping, considering that it came as a set with the wonton mee. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the smooth curd, and felt sad that I had to share it.

Being a wanton noodle specialist, the crab porridge is also its signature dish that has been awarded Hong Kong's Michelin guide, together with its wanton mee. I'm more of a porridge person than wanton mee, I couldn't resist this with the crab claw waving at me. And it didn't disappoint - porridge was piping hot, smooth and fragrant and had the sweetness of the crab and crab roe. Yes, it comes with the whole crab. Must try!

It had rained heavily but it discouraged the usual long queue. In no time, we tucked in to plate of boiled, crunchy and sweet greens. Next came the golden, deep-fried oyster omelette pancake that was crispy and chockful of oysters - this was so delicious and not starchy like the one in Singapore! We ordered 3 clay pots to share, steaming up my camera lens: chicken & mushrooms, beef & chicken and lup cheong & pork. Super bliss in that kinda weather!
