Nothing like the thick mushy mee sua that we are all too familiar with, Gastrosmith's mee sua is al dente and bathed in a light but spicy broth generously loaded with mussels, clams and scallops. To be honest the spices may taste a little odd at first, but past a few mouthfuls, the flavors would slowly grow on you.
Our starter for the night, an otherwise humble soft egg jazzed up with mushrooms, radish, and a teaspoonful of caviar to elevate it to atas-ness. Not wow, but surely more than good enough!
Thought it would have been better if the sauce had been more savory than sweet. The mashed potato was faultless though!
This has got to be my favourite pasta thus far. MUST order!
I like eating this best by rolling the beef strips around the asparagus. You will love the ooze from every bite!
