I confess, this was my favourite sin at our #BurppleTastemakers eatup at #TheBetterfield. Yet to be made available on their menu, this "mystery dish" consists of duck fat potatoes with crispy duck, nacho cheese and truffle mayonnaise.
The crispy duck was so perfect, I kept going back for more and by the end we were shovelling the nacho cheese into our mouths. It's that good. I can't wait to have this again!

This bowl is the bomb, the soup is thick and flavorful. And I will always ask for the potato pattie, so that it can soak up and soup and give another dimension to the already yummy pattie. I have seen some old folks asking for more soup. I think on my next round I should as well, simply because I can't get enough.
Where bouncy prawns and pasta make the best friends. Enjoyable!
Unfortunately, this wasn't as good as I remember it to be π The noodles were al dente but portion was rather small and they were heavy-handed with the seasoning. Having eaten Nam Seng Wonton Noodles since they were operating as a hawker stall in the rundown shack outside the old National Library until they moved to a stall inside the now defunct food court at Far East Square and finally, to their present standalone shop, it is inevitable that the taste is no longer the same. I should clarify that the wonton mee isn't bad, it's just not as delicious as it used to be.
Not forgetting red wine-braised oxtail, chicken sausage, Canadian back bacon, sautΓ©ed mushrooms, baked tomato and a side of mesclun with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Fit for a royal πΈπ»

Finally had the chance to have a meal at this burp-pular place! Steaks come in 200g/ 400g/ 600g option. Went medium rare and the meat blended well with the semi-honey mustardish tartar sauce (?). Enjoyed it and it'll be even better if they can slice the meat thinner.
This soup is almost like a stew and can be eaten on its own. Ingredients besides fish maw included minced pork, pork slices, fish dumpling and mushroom. Really deliciously old school.
It doesn't matter anyways. Craving for something light and healthy, without wrecking my brain hard about it. Fits wonderfully.
Cute-as-a-button mini burgers filled with juicy pork belly, Japanese Saikyo miso and Granny Smith apple purΓ©e. These bar bites are a must-order with the delectable cocktails here, but of course greedy me wishes those yummeh pieces of pork belly can be upsized! π
Resistance is futile. Why have people not put tender chunks of tandoori chicken, a thick layer of oozing mozzarella and mushrooms together in one murtabak before? The best part is how thin and crispy the prata itself is, the most perfect shell for these tasty, tasty fillings. Smother it all in fish curry, and share this between 4 comfortably along with a plaster blaster each. That is how you brunch.
