That dark, umami-bomb of a mince that coats those noodles...irresistible. Even though the beef slices in the soup are epically tenderized, I will always wish this was available in SG.
Sweet, tender and charred char siew with beautiful noodles that bear a lovely bite. A great breakfast option!
Darn good, boiled then roasted duck in this old school restaurant. The noodles were great, but the kar heong chai choi (the vegetarian dish) was a true standout.
If you are craving for Roast Duck in PJ during lunch time this is the place to be "Sunrise Roast Duck"
It's where the magic happens. Tonight, we're indulging in Ah Ping's dry bak kut teh. We're talking concentrated flavors of authentic Malaysian bak kut teh. Incredibly sweet, these fall-off-the-bone tender pork ribs exude a hint of charred smokiness juxtaposed against a savory saltiness from its natural jus. Absolutely amazing! 😋
Best coffee in KD that opened everyday. Head there to look for handsome and skillful barista!
Best roast pork!
This place by the street is recommended by a KL native. The soup is packed with a rich herbal taste and is much less peppery than the ones you find in Singapore. The pork ribs were soft and best eaten with some chilled soya sauce. Pretty incredible authentic experience!
The beef noodles here is off the charts. Highly recommended by a KL native, they were so nice to pick us up and drove us there. The beef is extremely tender and flavorful on the inside. Honestly, I haven't tasted something better off the streets. I don't see how we could have discovered this place without the local knowledge of the city dwellers. The hour long jam was so worth it.
Noodles is dressed with a concoction of minced beef and vinegar. But the main show is still the beef in the soup.
