Craving a taste of specialty from my hometown, Jogja. But was disappointed with this particular rendition from Sagoo Kitchen. Thumbs down.
Newly Opened Stall in Foodtown, Living World Alam Sutra. The presentation is very clumsy with a slightly charred sunny side up, but the taste is very authentically javanese. Mall price of Rp 28.000,-
The coconut and brown sugar combination is perfect!! Yummy and refreshing...
The original sate and a must buy when we eat here.
We were disappointed when it didn't come in a cobek like the name implies. It wasn't even appealing to the eye. It was basically lousy presentation. But one bite gave way to a surprise. Its called nasi cobek because they lay some sambal under the rice. The taste is actually quite yummy. Recommended!!
Rp. 29.000,- the spices are just right, too bad it wasn't spicy. After swiping some sambal from the sate it was perfect. Finished it off even though I wasn't even hungry to begin with!!
