Must Try
Can believe this costs $300
Pic mysteriously reappeared in my camera roll.
I didn't even order the pictured item. I had the beer battered fish n chips, which I sadly failed to record on my phone. How was the fish? Decent. But what I urgently want to rave about is the awesome handcut fries or 'chips.' They're nothing to look at but this isn't a beauty contest. I had a fry epiphany after a few bites - this is how fries should taste, not the frozen prepacked stuff. Lightly perfumed w truffle oil and sprinkled w Parmesan, I couldn't stop chomping down on them and I finished the whole plate. N skimmed some off my partner's plate as well. I'm not even a lover of fries or potatoes but I'll gladly come back here just for them. Plus their delicious tartar sauce n salsa.
Fall-off-the-bone tender and flavourful meat, accompanied by a creamy mash done just right. I didn't even need to use a knife at all. Easily the best lamb shank I've had so far.
Plump and fresh. Half dozen for about $15
