Tucked in a narrow lane, the cafe is hard to find yet jam-packed with loads people throughout the day! Prepared to queue for 20mins but this daily special toast set is worth the wait. Home-made banana spread and apricot conserves along with fluffy thick toast are a bliss to start your lazy morning! Be sure to check out this unique cafe in Taipei soon!!!
Wanted to go to Anping, but taxi driver, after hearing from us that we had only one day in Tainan, drove us to this supposedly very famous beancurd place in Anping so we could buy some before taking us to our destination. What can I say? Never tried such silky-smooth, delicious beancurd before! The bowl with the red thing is red-bean flavored. Yummy!
Your already-very-delicious explodes-with-soup-in-your-mouth 小笼包 with an added pan-fried twist. I'll leave the resulting taste to your imagination. Anyone knows where I can find this in Singapore?
On this street, there are two competing family-run establishments selling fried shrimp rolls. We tried both, but couldn't taste any difference, both were similarly 很好吃!
Another shot of the Yong Tau Foo, with the noodles we ate together with the dish. We shared one serving the day before, but it was so delicious we came back the next day and ordered 6 servings, one for each of us.
Don't know what sauce they used for this, it tasted so good! You can make it with your leftover CNY steamboat ingredients if you still have them in the freezer.
China man breakfast. Tastes like food you eat when you're down with the cold.
It's now almost 10. We've been eating non-stop from 6 in the evening. Our hands always have food.
This is wild boar. Get this. All you NS guys, mind blown yet?
Carrot cake with the oyster omelette sauce. Good things deserve to be reused!
