The charming Café Gavroche (sister of Brasserie Gavroche) is perfect for drinks and small bites in a laid back Parisian setting! When I entered the front cafe, I was greeted by a beautiful built in bar which shows off the French collection of wine and spirits! I walked into the bar to another setting they called 'the sidewalk' but I prefer to name it The Courtyard, as it was bright with natural day light, perfect for my photo shoot. The last setting was the living room or rather the kitchen, which possess a warm feeling like being in someone's home.

Finally back in my hometown, the chicken and bean sprout is one of the authentic dishes that originates from Ipoh. The reason being that Ipoh has the ideal climate to grow the raw ingredients for this dish, perfect bean sprout, the hard water for the white noodle and the tender chicken. Be sure to order the fishball soup as the fishball are made not from a variety of fishes mixture, but just from a particular fish that makes the fishball really smooth and bouncy.

this diamond-shaped egg tart is finger-licking good! the crust toasted to perfection and its creamy runny eggy centre won me over entirely 😋

A tad pricey at $9.80 for slices of fried bread with icing sugar and whipped cream, but I must say it was love at first bite when I sank my teeth into one of those plush, eggy pillows. Meltingly soft and not too cloying, this is what sweet dreams are made of.

I generally hate oysters. I usually order orh luak without orh. But these were exceptional. Forced myself to eat them for work and I'm so glad I did. They're imported (not live) from Hiroshima, but tasted no less fresh than any live oyster. Slippery, not slimy; slightly briny from the sea, yet zingy from the dressing. This is sure to get your sexy on. And the best bit: you get exactly what's pictured here for only $13.80. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
