They ran out of the Banana Oatfreeze so I opted for Chocolate Oatfreeze🍫 & requested for it to be less sweet!

Kind of regret choosing this because chocolate is such a strong flavour and overwhelmed the oat. But the addition of oat milk definitely made this drink less heavy and easy to drink!

Im a mega huge fan of @jollibean_sg peaNUT pancakes ❤❤❤ Who loves these too?! 😉 This is one substantial mee chiang kueh - chewy rice flour dough with a THICK slab of their specially-whipped signature peanut paste! 😍

Its filling really sealed the deal for me. ✔ You can taste the explosion of both savoury & sweet 🥜 in every bite - crunchy & sandy texture just the way i like it! 😋 Together with the lightly fragrant golden-brown exterior & fluffy chewy interior, every bite is guaranteed to be a delight. 💕

At $1.70 a slice, this seemed to have shrunk in size by at least 1/3 (is it cuz of COVID losses 😔) but taste-wise it still satisfies! 👌🏻

Friends of mine would know that I’ve BEAN SOY in love with JOLLIBEAN’s soy milk & pancakes ❤❤❤, so I was really stoked to know that they had recently launched the Brown Sugar series at all outlets! 😊

First, the staff slathers the cup with a luscious coat of Taiwanese brown sugar 😍😍😍, before filling it up with ice, soy milk & matcha/cocoa blend for the latter (using Japanese matcha & premium cocoa powder). ✔ All 3 of them includes black pearls which remained soft & chewy even after being left aside for a while. 👌🏻

My personal bias would be the Signature Brown Sugar Pearl Soy 💯 as the original soy milk brings out caramel flavours of the brown sugar the best. 😋😋😋

For fans of matcha & chocolate, I would recommend you go for their Jspecial 💚 or Chocolate Soy Bliss 🍫 as they are richer! The brown sugar added some complexities but also mellows their distinctive flavours. 😂

I guess most of you must be familiar with @jollibean_sg, almost a household name now! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Newly opened at B2 of The Seletar Mall is its first franchise outlet but it is in no way different from the other outlets that consistently serve up satisfying snacks of good quality. ✔

Those who know me well will know that I’m nuts about nuts 🥜 & the peanut pancake served by Jollibean easily makes it into one of my favourites for pancakes! 💕

For variety, I sometimes go for their 6 in 1 Mini Rolls ($2.80-$3) for sharing with my family & I get the added benefit of trying different flavours (peanut, red bean & cheese)! 😉 I especially love their peanut pancakes ❤❤❤, where their aromatic peanut butter spread combines the nice crunch of an abundance of peanuts bits & the luscious creamy texture of a creamy PB - the best of both worlds! ✌🏻

Silky smooth beancurd is always enjoyable 💯 & I simply love their Almond Soy Pudding ($2.50), a luxe & firmer version of the classic beancurd. 👍🏻 Liked that I do not get the unpleasant powdery mouthfeel of the almond powder used but the rich flavours of the almond came through pretty strong. 😋😋😋

As a fan of matcha, I went for their Jspecial to chase away the heat! 💚💚💚 Featuring matcha soy blended topped with a scoop of azuki red beans, give it a good stir & you’re in for a sweet treat! 🥰 The matcha flavour was quite light IMO so it doesn’t overpower the soy fragrance, while the sweet red beans balances the slight astringent taste that matcha brings. 👌🏻
