Jam & Kaya Cafe really excels at fluffiness.
Check out their beautifully cooked scramble eggs🥚 - soft, fluffy and creamy - as part of the Australian Big Breakfast (RM28.90).
.
Everything else on the plate was done well too - we like that the focaccia bread strips were crispy and not too thick, and the baked beans were slightly smoked.

We enjoyed their signature Jam & Kaya's Pancake (RM17). Pancakes were soft and fluffy, and served with fresh berries and a dollop of vanilla ice-cream on top.
.
We like that the kaya and fruity jam were not overtly sweet. In fact, the kaya jam has a lighter green hue as it is made from fresh pandan.
The strawberries were not sour too - which is a plus in our books. We literally demolished the pancake stack in 5 minutes!
I didn’t know savoury pancake could be this yummy! Just perfect!
The best combination ever. Everything just goes so well. I love how the sweet caramelisation of banana and the cold ice cream just blends well with the soft pancake.
Starting breakfast with pancakes! This was one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Fluffy and moderate sweetness level. So good!
Definitely recommend this for a simple brunch date or if you're planning on having a casual gathering with friends. Prices are slightly on the pricier end, so do take note.
This cafe is situated right beside the pool of PJ Palms Sports Centre but don't be fooled, walk inside and it is an incredibly cosy affair perfect for brunchtime conversations and small gatherings.
Their food is more of a Western fare and I mainly tried out their (all-day!) breakfast menu. They also feature yuzu in some of their sodas and teas, so that was a pleasant sight.
Loved my cold chicken sandwich which surprised me with a layer of kimchi which paired brilliantly with the avocado and chicken mayo. My friend found his big breakfast platter to be hearty and had no complaints either.
Heard brilliant things about the French & Shibuya toast as well as the pancakes here, so I'm keen to come back and try those out soon.
