This thing is rlly not as good in a jar. Idk maybe it's that I'm having big mouthfuls, but each slice of mushroom is rather dry. The umami isn't so intense either
I saw them scoop it into the jar tho, so idk what's up. Maybe the taste deteriorates over time
If I'm not wrong all the items are the same price for each jar. Which is ridiculous because some of the fungus are rather high quality, and that's incomparable to radish
Wtv the case, the radish is quite unique. There's this almost fruitiness to it, but not sweet. I guess it's something like green papaya in spirit, but very different ofc
The jar is somewhat sizable, looks to me about at least 500ml, probably 700?
Anyway this was the real deal. Simple yet absolutely delicious. For someone who really don't like buying stuff and carrying for the rest of the trip, I bought 2 jars
As you can tell it carries a bit of heat. But the flavour is absolutely banging. A sauce specialty shop is really a completely different league than the nonsense we've been trying so far. Palpable heat
On the right is one of their 2 spiciest sauces. The other is purely mashed chili so that's not very interesting, it's pure pain. This is weird tho. It's very spicy, and there's this earthiness to it. It's otherwise quite hard to explain, but not v good at all
