The Long Jiang Pork Hock Noodle ($15.90) was surprisingly good. The braised pork trotter was fall apart tender and tasty, and the preserved vegetables complemented the braised pork. Enjoyed this!
I tried Hi Noodle at Esplanade MRT recently and the Crayfish Noodles Set for 2 ($28.80) is surprisingly good!
The set comes with Garlic Crayfish Noodle and Spicy Crayfish Noodle. Both noodles are really strong in flavour and the garlic crayfish noodle is super garlicky and aromatic. The spicy crayfish noodle is quite fiery and it really packs a punch. Between the two, I will pick the garlic crayfish noodle as the other one is a little too spicy for me😅
The crayfish (小龙虾) tastes like mini shrimps and they go really well with the springy noodles and sauces. The portion is very generous too. So glad to try this!
