Tucked away from the bustling side of Bangsar, Grind22 is the perfect place to be for an relaxing afternoon. Give their signature Nona Latte or Baba Latte, a twist from the usual coffee. If youβre hungry, head to the back to WokIt for an affordable lunch. As the space is quite small, it can be packed during peak hours, but so far Iβve never had trouble getting a seat there.
For RM10, you can choose one noodle/rice, meat (chicken, beef or seafood), two veges and sauce. I've tried the green curry and kam heong sauce. Both tasted quite good with the noodles. Besides that, they have mango sweet chilli, salted egg, spicy peanut and the new mandarin zest. As for the sides, there's a choice of sugarcane prawns, chicken bombs and spicy bean curd. 3 pieces for RM6. I've tried all three and it was just so so.
Tucked away beside Twenty2 fashion boutique in Lorong Maarof lies a cozy, quiet cafe with naturalistic vibe. There's both an indoor and outdoor seating with ample of sunlight shining through.
Besides drinks, head to the back to order a customised meal with Wok It.
In frame: Grind 22 signature latte, Nona Latte (RM12) is a combination of espresso, milk and gula melaka. The flavour was caramel-like and had the right level of sweetness. I reckon the drink tastes better iced.
Good service and the barista was informative and friendly. One little downside was that there were lots of flies around.

This hazy day...just need something to ease my throat. π· Had this Iced Nona Latte at Grind 22 the other day. A latte coffee base with palm sugar (gula melaka) to top off the sweetness. Sweetness level just nice!
Love the way they set up... Hidden and yet close to nature within city. It's right beside a boutique. The mango cheesecake is heavenly made! And I love their ice Nona latte!
