Gapow Tapae (Bangkok)

Tasting a bit of my friend's order, I was pleasantly surprised by the rich flavour of this instant noodle. The combination of minced pork, sausage, and seasoning within the noodle was well-mixed, creating a savoury delight. The overall taste was wonderful and may even shock you with its deliciousness.

While labeled as less sweet, the chrysanthemum tea still carried a noticeable sweetness. Nevertheless, it served as a refreshing and cooling beverage to counterbalance the spice in the main dish.

Special thanks to my Thai friend for recommending and treating me to this awesome meal. The flavours were absolutely fantastic. The pork belly was succulent and tender, with a perfectly crispy skin. The minced pork was well-seasoned, and I appreciated the option to choose the spice level—I went with normal. The holy basil and spices were well-balanced, providing a flavourful and aromatic experience. Despite the label of "normal" spice, I found it just below my expectations, possibly due to my high spice tolerance. The dish was complemented with a fried egg, adding a delightful touch.
