I JUST FOUND MY NEXT FAV DUCK
Never a fan of duck except when it's Peking or Smoked, I guess I found my next favourite duck-style. It's slow-roasted version! It was a sight to behold - served in hoja santa leaf and smell heavenly. The tea-like aroma very mcuh whets the appetite! Served with a stack of warm corn tortillas in purplish blue colour - thoughtfully covered with moist cloth to prevent it from drying. The combination was extremely unique and pleasantly surprising - who would think slow roasted duck would go well with corn tortillas?! Along on the side - tomato salsa, white onions and cilantro were served as condiments to the DIY duck 'taco'. Sorry for the poorly taken shot that failed to capture all the other sides. Tacobout hidden finds and pleasant food finds, this legitimately makes the cut - definitely not a quack!
