Was so excited to try @takeaslicehome's Petite Box volume 2 and was really glad I managed to get it because it was sold out in a few minutes! We liked everything in the box because each item has a variety of flavours and textures and my favourites were Blackwoods and Oh Honey!

Blackwoods is similar to blackforest but even more. I liked the combination of flavours which were the sweet from the cocoa, the slightly tart flavours from the sour cherries and the savoury flavours from the black pepper crackers. Oh, honey! is a honey cake with roasted pistachio mousse, apple pie filling topped with white chocolate swiss meringue buttercream. I loved the nutty, sweet and creamy flavours complementing each other so well 😍 Tropical Daze was good too and I especially liked the crust along with the passion fruit mango flavours. Purple Cream Tea was good too being made of earl grey tea cake with blackberry compote and browned butter swiss meringue buttercream. This was a comforting sort of good and also the cream for all the cakes was done really well because I usually don't like cream but these were so good 😋
