It was the bestest choice. It was rich in flavor despite its seemingly plain color, and they are so generous in their portion. The effort made into cooking each individual porridge bowl, the tenderness of the pork, the fragrant sesame oil richly seeping deeper into the porridge was really stunning. it was such a comfort food for our tummy. The pork congee was thick and cooked to a perfect consistency, even reminding the mister of his mom's homemade porridge when he was young. The option for adding 50c for an egg is definitely a great choice, adding a creamy texture to the perfect comfort food. Overall it was cheap, filling, rich in flavour and truly a comfort food.

The mister gave it a ratings of 8/10 (or so I derived from seeing how he enjoyed it) haha! we conclude that this pork porridge bowl that cost $3.50 was super VFM.
