Pleasantly surprised at how much we liked it. The dish was not what I expected it to be. The taste of ginger wasn't strong at all. In fact, the ginger was picked. It tasted slightly sweet and very yummy on its own. A little like gari (pickled ginger) often served with sushi. Loved their unique version of this popular dish.

@blueskiescottonclouds saw my posts yesterday of the sweet and sour pork as well as the steamed minced pork and was lamenting about how she longed for comfort food. I then thought it was a good idea to go back with my whole family and dear friend to try other dishes. Turned out to be a fantastic idea. Everyone in our group, including the kids, gave the restaurant a nod of approval. I always say that the kids do not lie. They are the most honest critics 😆.
