From Ramen Tenji at The Seletar Mall — the shop itself is by and shares the space with Soi Thai Soi Nice which also operates other brands such as Jin Ho Mia, Shin Sapporo Ramen and Atmosphere Bistro. Ramen Tenji serves only Japanese ramen with a variety of broths such as Tonkotsu, Black Garlic and Red Spicy — all of them comes in two variants (Shogun or normal). Patrons are able to choose their preferred doneness of the noodles, richness of broth and also the amount of oil for their Ramen.

The Ramen here is decent but really nothing much to shout about — opted for normal for all the options that we could make and the broth felt like it could have been creamier; thankfully the broth wasn't overly salty and was actually pretty ok to have. The Black Garlic adds a light whiff of garlic to the Tonkotsu base but the flavours were not very distinct. Noodles carried a good bite, while the Chashu, while giving the entire bowl a meaty bite, seemed forgettable. The Ajitama was a little inconsistent; a little less molten on one side than the other. Overall, it's a rather decent bowl of ramen that would probably appeal to residents in the area, but nothing fantastic to make the trip down for in my opinion.
