Carrot Cake strips, 12 strips for $2, 18 strips for $3. A very old stall that was around since probably 60 years ago! It’s very hard to find these old school carrot cake strips let alone its so finger licking shiok!! These simple carrot cake strips brings us so much happiness and childhood memories as we had been patronising them since we were a child. .

Carrot cake strips were cut using a machine, before putting on a large flat metal grill and deep fry for about 2-3 mins, left to drip oil for a few mins more before it’s ready to serve. Beautifully and evenly deep fried to golden brown with a layer of super crispiness on the outside and soft tender on the inside. Given its crispiness, it’s not overly oily and we have a habit to eat it with the wooden stick right in the middle like eating a skewer! .
