2️⃣Crispy Pork Belly on potato cucumber salad with parsley mousse and Dark beer sauce [$18.90++] Personally not a fan of Pork belly due to the thick layers of inevitable fatty meat, but I did enjoyed the tender lean meat in this that was surprisingly not gamey yet flavourful and well marinated! Coupled with beetroot and parsley mousse as well as Dark Beer sauce which added a tangy note, what got me hooked onto this dish was actually the chunky and slightly cream Potato cucumber salad!💖 A refreshing and great accompaniment to the tender pork belly indeed! 👍🏻
3️⃣Saboten Free-Range Pork Loin Katsu Gozen [$29++] - Only available from 4 Jan - 31 May!
With a crisp and well breaded exterior, the interior of pork loin meat was tender, albeit a little dry for my liking. Thank goodness for the flavourful, smoky and umami tonkatsu sauce that’s served alongside and a fragrant, refreshing roasted sesame salad! 🥗
4️⃣Truffle Oil Chawanmushi [$5++]
One of my favourite item in the 8 course meal, the soft, smooth and silky steamed egg comes with a fragrant, lingering truffle aroma that lightly perfumes up the entire dish! ✨
5️⃣Whole Fortune Smoked Corn-Fed chicken with house-pickles [$48++]
The chicken was grilled to an ideal and slightly crisp golden brown perfection, along with tender and succulent meat within the chargrilled exterior. The companion of pickles served as a refreshing, tangy one, along with a crunchy mouthfeel. Note that this is only available from 14Jan-19 Feb! .
