Visited GO Noodle House with my cousin. She had the Pan Mee in Hakka Sauce with Century Egg and added pork slices—something she was glad she did, as the minced meat portion was on the lighter side. That said, she still preferred my dish: the Signature Bursting Meatball Noodle Soup, which is her usual order.
I went for the à la carte version and added Spanish pork slices separately, which gave me 5 bursting balls (instead of 3) and 3 slices of pork—perfect for someone who really enjoys the soupy meatballs. They’re incredibly flavourful and pair beautifully with the house chili. I chose Mi Xian noodles, which had a great texture and held up well in the broth I chose — the original one, which came with huadiao wine. I would love to try their suan cai soup next.
