Cafe hopped across the Singapore-JB border today to a quiet, rustic cafe along Jalan Dhoby road. The flower-themed cafe had cute decor, great ambience, good customer service, wifi and power plugs; everything that draws me into a cafe. Their drinks menu had lots of interesting concoctions of different juices. I had the one with coconut, lime, mint and flower ice cube (MYR15.90) which was absolutely refreshing on a hot afternoon, I'd highly recommend it! (Also loved the subtle incorporation of flowers into the drink). There was a good assortment of cakes at the front counter as well, and we shared a slice of purple carrot cake (MYR11) which was moist and interestingly had bits of purple carrot! The brunch food didn't leave much of an impression however. I had the Baked Eggs (MYR16) which came with eggs, button mushrooms, tomatoes, basil pesto and buttered toast, which was really tasty (pesto sauce was good!) but the eggs were way too overcooked. Overall, I'd recommend this place for its drinks and desserts and a lovely ambience!
