Finding peace and quiet in the city can prove to be a challenge, which is why Ra.Ft wins extra points for its serene, sunlit environment. The cafe is spacious and it sports a play area for children behind the facade of a wall — parents will want to get a seat by the window for visibility. The place has a penchant for wholesome eats, like the veggie-loaded Botanist (RM23.50) and the Hummus, Black Olives On Gluten-Free Bread (RM17) that are great for #MeatlessMondays. Thankfully, it doesn't scrimp on guilty pleasures either. Kids will enjoy sharing the spread in a RaFt Breakfast (RM32), which comes with homemade bread, mushrooms, baked beans, mashed potatoes, eggs, sausage and streaky bacon. The Pancakes With Honey & Mixed Berries (RM17) make a sweet alternative, but you might consider skipping it for the even more decadent Ra.Ft Bird Nest (RM14). The dessert of chocolate-drizzled churros tart coddling vanilla ice cream will delight all.
