Not only was it beautifully plated, this Squid Ink Risotto with Purple Octopus ($28) was absolutely delish and definitely got our unanimous #burpproval! Will be dreaming of this rich, creamy, umami-packed and perfectly cooked squid ink risotto with pickled shimeiji that gave a burst of flavour for each mouthful. Partaaaaaye in the mouth! Not forgetting the purple octopus, which was tender with just the right amount of chewiness, savoury and well-complemented with the fragrant yet mellow, zesty saffron lemon curd. Mmhmmmmm.
