Trying this for the first time β had always ended up at Pontian Wanton Noodles at the Rockery whenever I am in the area. The noodles were not too bad; a little softer than what I would expect but it's still pretty palatable otherwise, tossed in ample sauce for flavour. Between the two meats, I preferred the Char Siew β not sure if it was because I was lucky but I did end up with the fatty part that was tender and melt-in-the-mouth yet carries a bite; the char Siew here also veers towards being on the sweeter side with the honey sauce that it is coated in. Roast Pork was more on the leaner side; the skin was crisp but otherwise a little pedestrian as compared to the former β still a good option for a safe choice. Wantons could have been better filled, but were somewhat still decently sized without being wrapped in a skin too thick nor felt too empty within. Overall, not a bad choice if in the area.
