3 Course Set Lunch (Mains) ($58++ for steaks, $38++ for Seafood & Poultry)
Wagyu Minute Steak (on the right)
Woodfire-grilled Striploin (on the left)

Bedrock Bar & Grill offers a 3-course set lunch, which comes with a starter, a main, and a dessert. While $58++ for a 3 course lunch with steak may sound pricey, it is still much more affordable than their ala-carte dinner menu, where steaks start from $79++, with the most expensive ones well over $100.

We had the Wagyu Minute Steak ordered medium rare and the Woodier-grilled Striploin ordered Medium.

The Wagyu Minute Steak was a disappointment overall. The meat was rather dry and overcooked, despite us asking for the steak to be done medium rare. The only saving grace of the dish was that the middle portion of the steak retained some juiciness and tasted great. If only the whole steak tasted like that, what a pity. The side potatoes were really good though.

In contrast to the Wagyu Minute Steak, the Woodier-grilled Striploin exceeded our expectations, and turned out to be the unexpected star of the show. There was a generous portion of meat, and the whole steak was juicy and bursting with flavour. The béarnaise sauce that came with the steak was also a good complement, although the steak by itself is sufficiently delicious. would definitely recommend this to steaklovers!

The desserts (not pictured) were also fantastic. We didn’t think that a steakhouse would serve such great desserts but we were proven wrong. We had the Sticky Stout & Toffee Pudding with Gingernut Ice Cream which was heavenly. However it had a strong ginger taste, so if you’re not a fan of ginger this definitely wouldn’t be for you! We also had the Raspberry & White Chocolate Eclair with Fresh Berries which was superb (high recommended!!). It was a huge eclair that wasn’t overly sweet and had the freshest berries and white chocolate and ahhhh amazing (:
