For their Tze Char dishes, my favourites were the super appetising Curry Fish Head ($25) that went really well with rice, the flavourful Double-Cooked Pork ($10, $14, $18) and the Buttermilk Cheese Prawn ($20, $25, $30) that featured fresh prawns in a rich & creamy sauce! I had mixed feelings about the Chili Crab (1 crab for $30, 2 for $50) though; the crab was fresh and came with free mantous (fried buns) but personally found the sauce too sweet for my liking.

For Mala Xiang Guo, each 100g of ingredients (no matter meat, seafood or vegetables) is priced affordably at $1.99 with hotpot base at just $1. With a wide variety of fresh ingredients to choose from, this is easily one of the most value for money mala xiang guo you can get!

They are conveniently located at 236 Upper Thomson Road, within waking distance from Marymount Mrt Station.
