My family is back at Whampoa Food Centre for dinner and we ordered a generous plate of Hokkien Mee ($10) from Singapore Fried Hokkien Mee to share. The yellow noodles and thick bee hoon go well with the garlicky and flavourful sauce. The chilli is not super spicy but it adds just the right amount of heat to the noodles. Together with the prawns, squid, pork belly, egg and lard, this is one decent plate of Hokkien Mee that I wouldn’t mind having again.
