A dessert made using red colour-based berries hence its namesake, the strawberry mousse was topped with a raspberry sorbet and pieces of strawberry meringue that comes with berry purée base, juicy strawberries and raspberries and sprinkled with crunchy freeze-dried bits that, in overall, presented a taste that balances between sweet and sour, while being tangy at the same time!

Steamroom with The Pillar and Stones

Salmon Ochazuke ($24.00) Norwegian Salmon with Edamame, Salmon Caviar and Smoked Tea Dashi on Japanese Rice.

Crispy red snapper with saffron bisque over a bed of parsley risotto and garnished with broccolini, pea blossoms and artichoke chips.

Located on the 3rd floor of Orchard central, the restaurant is a bit scattered due to the weird layout of the shopping mall but haphazard seating doesn’t stop them from serving up quality food.

Angus Beef Tartare at Steamroom with The Pillar and Stones (SRPS).

Another standout dish from #SRPSGastronomy would be their Lobster Fregalo Sarda Pasta ($28).

Lunch set at $21 nett comes with coffee or tea of the week (available only Mon-Fri from 11.30am to 2.30pm).

This rainy morning has got me missing this simply yet extremely umami Salmon Ochazuke ($24) that we had at @steamroompillarstones.

If the colour pink had a flavour and more so in its various shades, I would imagine it would taste something like this plated dessert.
