Helmed by Chef Alex Chuh, who previously had stints in restaurants such as Hua Ting and Peach Garden, Huang Ting serves authentic Cantonese cuisine with a contemporary take. One dish that got me addicted to would be the Crispy Chicken in Almond Flakes and Dried Chillies ($18). With a slight spicy kick, the crispy chicken bites are tossed in almond flakes and dried chillies in the wok before being transferred onto the plate. The aroma and wonderful pairing of the different elements make it a delectable dish that will make you go back for more. I myself couldn’t stop eating the leftover almonds even after all the chicken bites have been wiped clean.
