At just $6 for the smallest portion that's fit for 2 pax, this is definitely one affordable meal that contains a chock full of ingredients such as shredded cuttlefish, lean meat, pork lard and spring onion.
The rice porridge and ingredients are first stir fried on a wok before the chef transfers it into a claypot. By frying it under high heat, it creates a certain wok hei in the porridge, resulting in an aromatic dish that is not commonly seen in Singapore. For fans of this place, please note that their last day of operation at their current location will be on 21 Feb and they will be shifting to their new premise at Jalan Besar thereafter.
