The most well liked fruit on the planet. How can you resist! I have always preferred Malay hawker stall when it comes to pisang goreng. But this stall, originally from Longhouse, over-turned my perspective. "Indian" banana was used which is sweet and fragrant. The batter has the texture of premium 香蕉蝦筒 (shrimp banana fritter)! Best of all it does not give you that greasy aftertaste or smell. The stall also sells yam + 年糕 (Chinese rice cake), sweet potato, tapioca/cassava fritters!

My favourite goreng pisang!the one and only which I would eat in Singapore!
Eileen Ong they are truly really seriously good. But I fear their popularity is not as before (at Longhouse). Must support!
This was after I tapao back. Tip: warm up with air-fryer. Super crisp & moisture retained in bananas!
