This stall in the Kampong Glam area specialises in nasi padang, and has been around for ages. Crowd favourites include the ayam bakar, grilled chicken in a coconut milk-based gravy, beef rendang and ayam panggang. The cooking style is apparently classic Western Sumatran, which favours a milder kick. Be sure to visit with a few friends, and arrive early -- almost everything sells out by 2pm.
