On the Michelin Bib Gourmand list, I had to give this a shot. Sad to say, I was not wow-ed. But I can't deny that I had higher expectation simply because of it's title. For a hefty price of $9 — and I only say hefty because it is a hawker fare, and you're really paying for that whole Michelin star and prestige endowned to it. Don't get me wrong, I thought the noodle texture was pretty decent, and the sauce here was tangier and stronger in its vinegar flavour. And while this made the taste of bcm more unique than usual, that's pretty much all to it. The liver was on the softer side, ingredients — meatballs, dumplings, were all pretty standard, and soup was already on the blander side. Ultimately, as this was my first try, I am glad that I got the Signature Tai Wah Pork Noodle which was really an "all-in" kind of set just to get a taste of all this hype. Because I don't think I will come here for my bcm fix, considering the longer queues, pricier food, and just standard quality delivered.
