An awesome x2 Burmese food @ "Yanant Thit" πŸ˜‹πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ‡²πŸ‡²
*****
Our HQ in SG is located quite near to Burmese Temple and we are always interested in Burmese culture. What a better way to pay a visit to Peninsula Plaza where we heard most Burmese groceries & restaurants are located.😻
.
We tracked down a hidden gem Burmese restaurant called "Yanant Thit" serving the most delicious Burmese food we've ever had so far. What a wonderful Friday lunch and here are our recommended dish to try! πŸ€“
.
* Tohu Thoke (Burmese chickpea Tofu)
Exotic yellow tofu that is made with chickpea. Expect a different texture compared to normal tofu. πŸ§€
* Thin Baw Thi Thoke (Burmese Papaya Salad) very spicy and fragrant but also addictive with crunchy peanuts! 🌢
* Balachuang (Burmese dried shrimp relish)
Just this alone with rice already won us over!🦐
* Dal (the only dish that is not spicy but we already decide to get this again in next visit)🌰
* Crispy fried fish (there is a reason why the restaurant prepare lots of this!) popular & yummy! 🐟
.
The total bill is $18.20 (including rice & free flow of condiments) Check our pics to see if this holds true. TGIF!! πŸ™€
