One of the better egg sandwiches I've ever had alongside the egg sando at Sunday. Though both sandwiches are very different in terms of preparation and presentation, I found the flavour profile pretty similar. I'll credit the Japanese influence in both dishes for that. Sunbather's rendition offered more contrast in texture with the ramen egg, cabbage, furikake, mustard? or wasabi? mayo in between slices of earthy, mochi-like dark rye bread. ⁣

💬:⁣ Gave in to temptation mid meal and ordered an iced matcha latte with houjicha kanten (jelly bits) plus an additional vanilla ice cream topping. Big fan of the velvety smooth texture of their ice cream, but I found the latte itself a little underwhelming. I'm by no means an expert in judging matcha, but I didn't like how I could feel sediments of the matcha in every sip. The jelly bits tasted of nothing 😳⁣


Would recommend you go if you're nearby! I'm definitely heading back to try out more menu options (especially their dessert offerings they start serving at 3pm) 🍰⁣
