You get to choose from three types of noodles and three types of soups. I chose ramen noodles, which was nice and springy, and the preserved vegetables beef broth, which was slightly spicy and a little weird. I think the authentic beef broth would have been nicer. The pieces of beef were excellent – the shank was tender and the tendon was soft and chewy. The portion size is large and the soup is comforting. I added $3.40 for a meal, which includes an appetiser (I had chilled black fungus with garlic, which was nice, but not as nice as my mom's chilled tofu with century egg) and a drink (I had hot jasmine tea).
