When this tiny bistro is own and run by an Italian couple, you know that everything on the menu is legit.
Take this handsome rigatoni and eggplant. Gorgeous tomato based sauce that is so flavourful, and meaty! Then eggplant is diced and crunchy, giving every mouthful a good bite. I swear, because of the red sauce having the beefy meat flavour, I thought I was having a meat dish! Slightly on the spicy side, which I am not complaining at all, compliment the extra cheese on side. So heart and homely, it sure feels like it's being cooked by an Italian grandma. Comforting, heartwarming, and certainly plain delicious.
