Weekday Executive Lunch ($29.80) 🍽 Garden Salad, Soup of the Day with raisins bread, Coffee/Tea 🍽 Pan-Seared Norwegian Salmon Fillet served with sautéed seasonal veg & baby potatoes with sage butter sauce 🍽 Australian Sirloin with red wine sauce 🍽 Crispy Pork Belly served with aged balsamic glaze, pork au jus with seasonal veg and garlic mashed potato 🍽 Verdict: Steak & Salmon over cooked, tough & dry.

Not good. Pork Belly was indeed crackling crispy but still too dry. Overall on food: not nice. Maybe need to try their Asian food items. Overall on ambience: Not bad cos rather empty & quiet 😂

Mortar Restaurant & Bar (Marina Square)

Chocolate fondant [$8.80] Served with vanilla ice cream and assorted berries, this was yet another run-off-the mill dessert.

Mortar's banana fritters [$8.80] "Goreng pisang" served with vanilla ice cream, mixed berries and pineapple reduction.

Tiramisu [$10.80] Gone is the old Milo tiramisu, in replacement with this Baileys & Kahlua tiramisu in the new menu.

Hazelnut creme brûlée [$8.80] The only dessert in the menu with a "chef's recommendation" sign.

Chocolate Fondant ($12.80) | Best pick of the bunch!

Chili Crab Fettuccini ($17.80) - one of the highly recommended dishes on the menu.

Norwegian Salmon Steak ($22.80) | Certainly wasn't expecting such a fanciful fine dining experience at the new NTU Alumni Club!

The only time when being a NTU student/alumni is put to good use: access to the NTU alumni clubhouse at marina square.
