This little store tucked away on the second floor of Tanglin Shopping Centre has seen snaking queues after going viral on Tiktok.

Steeple's Deli opened a couple of decades ago & kept their facade from then till now. Dining in felt like a major throwback to years long before I was born-to when the first deli in Singapore was born.

The menu is short and simple, your choice of sandwich or burger, and to pair, a milkshake, yogurt smoothie or plain ol' coffee or tea.

We went for the Reuben Sandwich ($18.90), which came with generous portions of corned beef and sauerkraut, toasted with cheese within homemade slices of rye. Every bite into the sandwich was juicy & flavourful, urging you to dive in again for another bite. On the side, we ordered a portion of curly fries, which was fried upon order-so you get your golden crispy curves served pipping hot to you.

They currently are only taking cash or paynow/PayLah, so please come prepared!

Pro-tip: to avoid the insane crowd & having to queue for >30 mins (we did that even after arriving at about 1.30pm), come visit right when they open at 11am. You'd thank me later 😉
