The crispy carrot cake here is.... LEGIT!!! The carrot cake here is so well fried, the eggy starchy base crackles inside your mouth, giving way to the pillowy soft carrot cake bits. I love how the sweet black sauce was used in just the right amounts, hence the resulting black carrot cake isn't overly sweet and still had the fragrance of the caipoh. The white carrot cake is my preferred of the two and that's just because I am biased towards the white ones.
