Xing Hua Lou is a chain of casual Chinese restaurants, specialising in Heng Hwa Cuisine (a la Putien).

They serve a hot hearty bowl of Heng Hwa lor mee. Handmade noodles with various ingredients such as meat (sliced pork belly), seafood (prawns and clams), mushrooms and vegetables are braised in a pork bone broth. It is hard not to enjoy their distinctive thick broth which is both sweet and creamy.

I do wish though that they top it with more of the deep fried peanuts and seaweed which Heng Hwa Cuisine is known for!
