“Oh I’ve not had brunch with friends in awhile” I thought as I made myself comfortable while waiting for my dining companions. It was great to be able to be there, with the easing of COVID restrictions.
Soon we ordered our mains and chatted away happily while sipping on the acclaimed coffee here that doesn’t disappoint. While the coffee came swiftly it took a good 45 mins for our food to arrive, we were warned of the longer waiting time with all tables full on a Sunday.
My French toast was a nice mixture of crunch and citrusy fruits; while there was nothing outstanding about the toast itself it made a good brunch item for my sweet tooth.
